By any standards many of us can say 2023 was a horrendous year. That said there were positives that must be celebrated. Stress and problems tend to sort out who you want to be in a foxhole with with things get tough again.. and it certainly will. We had our first Private Auction which was a success and will certainly be repeated when appropriate. For us while we still sell, our major market focus has shifted to the auctions, a trend we believe will continue. Our expertise has also been sought out for advising on the disposition of estates. Unfortunately, it never has been one solution fits all. We really enjoy the research required for both our appraisals and sales consultations.

Although we have not been able to participate in the past few seasons of Antiques Roadshow due to family health issues, we continue to receive many referrals from the reruns. We hope to rejoin Roadshow at some point in the future.

2024 marks 50 years in business. We will certainly mark this milestone with something memorable. We wish all our friends, family, clients, associates, and acquaintances Merry Christmas and our Best Wishes for a great 2024.
