ArtTrak.com Updated Christmas 2025

Over its many iterations, the ArtTrak website has evolved in step with the dynamic tribal art market. Now, after 51 years of dedicated service, the increasing demands on our time have led us to a pivotal juncture. Rather than pursuing aggressive expansion to accommodate every client seeking to downsize—whether through gallery sales, private auctions, or public platforms—we have elected to refine our focus and become more discerning in our commitments.

The field of tribal art suffers from a notable shortage of seasoned appraisers and specialists, resulting in heightened demand for expert guidance on collection disposition and strategic acquisitions. In response, ArtTrak is deepening its emphasis on these consultative services. We are also committed to enriching the discourse around tribal art through thoughtfully curated content on our refreshed website and our dedicated ArtTrak YouTube channel.

While we will continue to support select clients with gallery sales and forthcoming private auctions, and maintain cataloging contributions for trusted auction houses, our primary energies will be directed toward high-value advisory roles. We are particularly thrilled to announce a closer collaboration with the distinguished researcher and materials analyst Mark Rasmussen, a valued partner with whom we have worked for nearly three decades. These developments mark an exhilarating new chapter for ArtTrak. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve you with unparalleled expertise in tribal art for many years to come.
